Quick and easy breakfast recipe with simple spices (chilli & turmeric) and plain bread tossed in mustard seeds, kadhi patta & chilli.
Loving all things breakfast these days and this recipe for yummy Bread poha has become one of my favourite things to eat and make because:
- it is super easy!
- you need just bread + some basic spices (if based in India :/)
- easy to pack and take to work
- super filling
To make bread poha, do not waste a lot of time on the basic argument on white or brown bread. The bread in bread poha is anyway lightly toasted with oil, so it will not make much of a difference.
How to make bread poha?
Lightly sauté some onions, add mustard seeds, turmeric, kadhi patta, salt, tomatoes and bread. I added some peanut too, but totally optional (NOT)
Serve hot for breakfast or in the evening as a snack with tea or coffee.
