One question that I’m asked very often is that how do I manage to create recipes inspite of having a full time job? The simple answer: majority recipes on this blog are so simple! The recipes posted on the blog are tested over the week (after I return from work) and then shot on the weekend. Which means, I get five full dinner chances to test my recipes & most of them are so easy. After a full day at work, I like making easy meals for dinner & these sesame rice noodles are made at least once a week!

Does this also tell you that I looooove rice noodles? Lets talk about that... The best part about rice noodles (apart from the fact that they’re made of rice!) is that they cook so quickly! For this easy sesame rice noodles recipe, the time taken to assemble and mix up the sauces was equal to the cook time of the rice noodles: really just ten minutes.
These sesame rice noodles have a delicious flavour of soy sauce, sesame oil & vinegar PLUS they are topped with some toasted sesame seeds. So yummy! How to make sesame rice noodles?
- boil the rice noodles as per package instructions
- in a bowl, mix together soy sauce, vinegar and sesame oil. Add some chilli flakes and pepper and mix well.
- heat oil plus garlic, add noodles, add sauce, spring onions, toasted sesame seeds. Mix & enjoy.

Ingredients
- 150 grams rice noodles
- 1 tbsp olive oil
- 1/2 tbsp garlic (chopped)
- 2 tbsp light soy sauce
- 1 tbsp sesame oil
- 1 tbsp rice wine vinegar
- 1/2 tbsp chilli flakes
- pepper
- salt
- 1 1/2 tbsp toasted sesame seeds
- 1/4 cup spring onion (chopped)
Instructions
- Cook the rice noodles as per package instructions.
- In the meanwhile, mix together soy sauce, vinegar, sesame oil and chilli flakes.
- Heat oil in a pan and add garlic. Cook until garlic is fragrant and add the cooked rice noodles. The flame should be low.
- Pour over the sauce. Add salt, pepper, spring onions and toasted sesame seeds.
- Mix well until well combined and serve hot (or cold)
