Real Indian Cilantro/ Coriander/ Dhaniya Chutney that is spicy, tangy and slightly sweet, made in under five minutes!
What am I doing??? I ask myself as I insert the picture above for a delicious vibrant Cilantro/ Coriander/ Dhaniya Chutney. This is totally not my recipe style, totally in contrast to my blog niche, but then again, how on earth can I not share a simple fuss free green Cilantro/ Coriander/ Dhaniya Chutney chutney that my mom (yes, 100 percent Indian!) approved. Plus I thought, since I already have a chutney recipe (onion, tomato and peanut chutney) that is soooo loved on Pinterest, I might as well make an addition to the category of dips/ chutneys on my site.
Honestly, the world does not need another Cilantro/ Coriander/ Dhaniya Chutney recipe, there are thousands out there. But then again, how many of them come from a real Indian kitchen? Or how many of them are actually ready in five minutes max? This surely is one of them.

Looking for a buddy for Indian appetisers or starters (snacks) like vada pav or sabudana tikki (tapioca fritters) ??? or some yummy cauliflower fritters (gobi pakodas) This is where their BFF enters = chutney!!! okay... slight exaggeration... but really, you just can not serve these Indian appetisers or starters (snacks) without this amazing homemade green Cilantro/ Coriander/ Dhaniya Chutney made with just a handful ingredients.
All you need is onion, yogurt (dahi), coriander, green or red chilli, garlic and lemon (plus some salt & sugar)

In another news, I wrote about an Instagram poll in this post for valentines day lemon cupcakes, where I was almost surprised to see that how many of you guys wanted me to upload the recipe for this Cilantro/ Coriander/ Dhaniya Chutney even before I could publish mushroom ramen or gobi pakodas, so here I am, without any further delay, with the simplest recipe for a yummy homemade Cilantro/ Coriander/ Dhaniya Chutney from an Indian kitchen. Mom tasted and she loved it, so thats how I know its awesome! 😀

What to serve green Cilantro/ Coriander/ Dhaniya Chutney with?

- hara bhara kebabs (spinach and peas fritters)
