Description
Three mushroom creamy toast with shiitake mushrooms, oyster mushrooms and button mushrooms and cream - perfect for a fancy breakfast treat.

- 1 loaf Sourdough Bread
- 2 tbsp Olive Oil
- 1/2 tbsp Garlic (finely chopped)
- 20 grams Shiitake Mushrooms (dry)
- 20 grams Oyster Mushrooms (dry)
- 150 grams Button Mushrooms
- 3/4 cup Cream
- 3 tbsp Butter
- 1 tbsp Thyme
- Salt
- Pepper
- Spring Onions (for garnish)
- Sesame Seeds (for garnish)
Instructions
- Add hot boiling water to shiitake mushrooms and oyster mushrooms keep covered for twenty minutes.
- Slice button mushrooms and keep aside.
- In a pan, heat some olive oil and add the mushrooms to it - spreading evenly across the pan. Let cook for 4-5 minutes on medium low heat.
- Once the mushrooms are cooked and lightly crunchy, add the garlic and let cook for about one minutes on medium low flame.
- Once the mushrooms and garlic is cooked, add the cream, parsley, salt and pepper. Cook for less than one minute on medium low heat and take it off the flame.
- Slice the bread and put some butter on each of the slice.
- Transfer it to an oven/ pan or griller and toast until it is golden brown on both the sides.
- Add the mushroom mixture on the toasted bread and sprinkle some sesame seeds/ spring onions. Enjoy.
