Description
Crazy delicious, flavourful, HEALTHY french onion yogurt dip with caramelized onions that is ready in simple steps and is absolutely lip smacking.

- 200 grams hung curd or very thick yogurt
- 2/3 cup onions (very finely chopped)
- 1/3 cup spring onions (chopped)
- 2 tbsp butter (salted)
- 1 1/2 tbsp honey
- 2 tbsp water
- 1/2 tbsp light soy sauce
- 1 tsp garlic powder
- salt
- pepper
Instructions
- In a pan, add butter, honey and onions and cook for 2-3 minutes on medium high heat mixing and constantly stirring the onions non-stop as they turn golden brown in colour.
- Afte 3 minutes, add 1 tbsp of water and keep mixing the onions. After about 30-40 seconds, when the water is evaporated, add another tbsp of water and mix for about 1 minute.
- Take the onions off the heat and let them cool for 7-8 minutes.
- In a bowl, add yogurt, salt, pepper, garlic powder, spring onions, soy sauce and the caramelized onions. Mix well and transfer to refrigerate for at least 30 minutes before serving.
